The Vikram lander will start moving downwards to land on the moon between midnight one to two o'clock on Friday-Saturday and it will land in the South Pole region of the Earth's satellite between one and a half to two and a half. Prime Minister Modi himself will be present in ISRO's Bengaluru center to see this historic moment. He will also be accompanied by 60-70 school children who have got the chance to watch the live telecast through the quiz competition.


The orbit of Vikram Lander is 35 km by 101 km. ISRO says that with this operation, the necessary orbit has been obtained for Vikram Lander to land on the lunar surface. Vikram will land on the south pole of the moon between 7:30 AM and 2:30 AM on September 7.
